live version 2.0

I am watching a Brittany Spears music video on the fuse channel and i found myself asking the question "did society fuck Spears up or is this her real personality.

Lets take a look at the carers of Justin Timberlake and Brittany Spears, (to my knowledge so i could be throwing out a lot of false facts here, but hey you dont read this for the honesty. do you?) They were both Mouse-kiters and then they both went on to find stardom in their teenage years, yet now Timberlake is a semi successful actor (arguable) and she is a divorced mother of two with a loser ex husband, and she makes stereotypically shitty music, and videos and is the butt of many jokes.

I think she might be the victim of society, i bet society would turn 9/10 girls that get stardom that young into what Spears is today, yet with Timberlake i feel that only 1/10 boy with the same life chances would turn out like timberlake.

why am i still thinking about this shitty shit

live bloggin this shit

July 1, 2011
from the deck of Floyd Masterson

Greetings friends, today i am going to be live blogging straight from my head to this computer, no notebook in the middle to filter out these thoughts. I remembered, just barley, that double rainbow all the way cross the sky was about a year ago, life has changed so much in this last year, there was a lot of bullshit to overcome, mibbs. I took a semester off school and worked full time, i came back to school and got my old shift back, now we are in the part of the year where we need to start playing a shit ton of soccer. I am excited for everyone to come back from shitty other countries.

Today is the last day of the Utes being in the mountain west conference. That is a bittersweet event for me, i will always be left with a empty feeling when i think about the mountain west, for one thing they could have made their league a lot more compettive but they were too scared to take risks and add new teams. OK lets set the stage, it is 2004 and the Utes just finished their first undefeated season, what should the MWC do to make sure it becomes a BCS conference in the next 5 years?

1. Inviite TCU, and Boise State. The addition of TCU was probably the second best thing to ever happen to the conference (the first being the 2 Ute perfect seasons). if you add Boise State into the conference as well in 2005 the dynamic of your whole conference changes. Maybe by having Boise State in the conference you dont have and undefeated season from utah in 2009 and maybe Boise doesnt get into the fiesta bowl to beat Oklahoma, but i think there is a good chance that atleast one of the four schools would have made a BCS Bowl game in the 5 years.

The perfect MWC would look like this: (and it probably would be at least the 3rd best conference in the nation.
First off you would have 2 divisions of six teams and a conference championship game

Division 1
Byu
Utah
Nevada Reno
UNLV
Air Force
Colorado State

Division 2
Boise State
TCU
Fresno State
San Diego State
Houston* we snag them from CUSA
**Either New Mexico or Wyoming, whoever wins a one game playoff gets in

in my opinion this conference is slightly better than the PAC 10 and BIG 10 respectively, and way outclasses the ACC and Big east, this new and improved MWC would never be lower than the fourth over all conference.

Dont get me wrong i am really excited about the Utes going to the PAC but i defer from the average utah fan in the fact that i would rather be playing in this version of the MWC than the current pac 12. right now i have no fucking desire to beat the shit out of the Arizona teams, or the colorado buffalo, i like kicking UNLV, SDSU, Wyoming and NEw mexico's asses a lot more. In time i will come to enjoy the new rivalries that we will create, but a part of me will always long for what could have been with the Mountain West Conference.

Jazz update. IMHO there is no way to keep all 5 bigs the jazz currently have under contract for next year, they being (in order of most to least valuable)
Derrick Favors* value in Youth and Potential
Enes Canter * same
Al Jefferson
Paul Milsap
Memo Okur

i think the most likely to be traded is Paul Milsap, while i will miss him quite a bit, i think he is the most expendable on the list. The problem with Milsap is i dont think he will go back to accepting a role of the bench, if i knew that the would accept it and do what is best for the team then there is no way i would let him go, but honestly i believe that if the is relegated to the bench in 2011-2012 he will act out and want out of town, there are plenty of bad teams in the league that will start Milsap, lets just hope that is primary goal is to win and not to start, cause a team starting him at power forward will never win enough.

There are rumors of getting andre Iguodala from the 76ers. we would probably have to throw in cj miles and maybe something else, i do not mind this deal very much but than that would mean that hayward would be your full time shooting gaurd and burkes would not get that many mintues to develop.
